“No Hungry Neighbors”
Food Security Program
As the government shutdown continues and funding for critical social programs like SNAP is canceled, ICAN is anticipating an increase in need for food and basic essentials across our community.

More than 600,000 Hoosiers — about 10% of our state — rely on SNAP benefits. In Marion County, 15% of households depend on this support, averaging just $206 per person each month. With benefits now in jeopardy, many families will struggle to put food on the table.

ICAN is preparing to meet this urgent need — but we can’t do it without you. Here are a few ways to help support ICAN's efforts to meet this moment:
-
Donate nonperishable food to the ICAN Food Pantry
 -
Donate to support emergency food purchases
 -
Volunteer your time to support food pantry operations
